Higher Education Accreditation
External accreditation panel work for Greek higher-education programmes and institutions — programme review, quality assurance, and panel chairing.
The problem
Universities and postgraduate programmes require independent external review against national quality-assurance standards. Panels must assess curriculum, governance, teaching capacity, and learning outcomes without institutional capture.
What was done
Since 2020 I have served as an external accreditation expert for the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education: chairing and joining panels for university-level and programme-level reviews across Greek universities (including Athens, Democritus University of Thrace, University of Macedonia, University of the Peloponnese, Piraeus, Athens University of Economics and Business, and others named in the CV).
Role
Chair or member of external accreditation panels. Work includes dossier review, site visits, drafting of panel reports, and recommendations on accreditation outcomes.
Result
Completed panel reports for the programmes and institutions reviewed. This page records the public strand of the work; the CV remains the full engagement list.
